The Underground Vaults in Edinburgh,Scotland

For more than 200 years the underground vaults reamined untouched, trapping the apparitions underground. The vaults were discovered about 30 years ago under Scotland's capital and are named one of the most haunted places in the world but for a very good reason.
These vaults were used as cellars, workshops and residences by local business owners who needed easy acccess to Edinburgh's South Bridge. However, a lot of water and waste management issues forced the wealthy residents to abandon the area.
After that, the vaults became a protection from danger for Edinburgh's homeless and a breeding ground for the plague. (ugh, how disgusting!)
There's a rumor that the murderous body snatchers Burke and Hare stored corpses in the vaults before handing them over to Infirmary Street teaching hospital. ( CREEPS!)
Below is a  very......interesting picture of the vaults

Doesn't that just look exciting?! I would totally go check it out if I were you.
You can take a tour for about $13 a person depending on the company.
